    Little Women

Everyone experiences puberty, but for a growing number of girls, this is happening sooner than you’d expect.

Our mission is to equip you with everything you need to have open, honest and informative conversations about early puberty with your young daughter.

Let’s break down the barriers and talk more openly about periods and other body changes in young girls.

    Our Story

    Our Story

    Growing up isn’t always easy.

As a girl from a South Asian family, puberty and periods were a taboo subject. Never really spoken about. Thankfully for me, after a few confusing and worrying months, my big girl cousins were there to help me understand what was happening to my body.

I was a confident and competitive swimmer back then, but there were plenty of times I missed out because I just couldn’t find the words or the courage to simply tell my parents and coaches that I was on my period.

    Now in 2024

    Now in 2024

Skip forward to 2024 and I am now mum to two gorgeous girls of my own. It’s sometimes been difficult to accept how quickly my daughters are becoming young women but I’ve made it my priority to be able to talk to them confidently about what’s to come, and celebrate that special time in their lives.

I set up Little Women to share the information and tools I wish my mother had shared with me when I was young. I hope it helps you and your daughters on their journeys.
